Now in its 17th year, IDEX, the world premiere of the finest collectible dolls, teddy bears, plush and more, will be held in Orlando Jan. 25-27, 2008 at the beautiful Rosen Shingle Creek Golf Resort and Convention. And for the third year, IDEX is partnering with the Girl Scouts of Citrus Council to provide interactive, badge-qualifying programs during the show for Brownies and Girl Scouts during IDEX Girl Scout Day, January 26, 2008.

Last year, the girls made their very own Snappy doll and decorated her clothing (thanks to Goodreau Doll, LLC).  They also made two finger puppets courtesy of Käthe Kruse Company. And with supplies donated by Teddy Bear and Friends magazine, the scouts created glitzy t-shirts for cuddly bears donated by Russ Berrie Company. Angelkeeper and Mission City Press also made contributions to the event.

”IDEX was a wonderful hands-on experience for the girls, which certainly delighted the troop leaders and the girls! Girl Scouts of Citrus Council is very pleased to be continuing the partnership with IDEX,” said Maureen Panek, Program Coordinator, Girl Scouts of Citrus Council.
